Red Crow was the first release from Paul Mosely’s album A Chattering of Birds ( 2013). I play cor and flute on this track (and also oboe on some of the others). The whole album’s a beautiful piece of work with some gorgeous and arresting arrangements. Although the players were not in the studio together for the recording.

This track was chosen by Tom Robinson for the first 2013 edition of his influential BBC 6 Music programme Introducing… I triple tracked oboe, oboe d’amore and cor for this recording – a combination I’m pretty sure never usually hits the airwaves!
